Part 107 Mock Exam
A full-length, timed Part 107 practice test: 60 questions, 2 hours, 70% to pass. Answers and explanations appear after you submit, with your score in each area.
How the questions are drawn
Each mock exam takes questions from every knowledge area in the proportions of the FAA test blueprint in effect since September 29, 2025:
- Regulations: 29 questions (48% of the test)
- Airspace and charts: 12 questions (20% of the test)
- Weather: 3 questions (5% of the test)
- Loading and performance: 1 question (2% of the test)
- Operations: 15 questions (25% of the test)
The real test also includes 5 unscored validation questions that do not count toward your score, within the same 2 hours. Answer every question.
On test day
- You take the test in person at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center, on a computer.
- The testing center gives you the FAA testing supplement with the figures some questions refer to. From October 26, 2026 some questions also show images from current sectional charts.
- Read every choice before answering, and flag questions you want to revisit. Unanswered questions count as wrong, so answer every one before time runs out.
Mock exam questions
How close is this mock exam to the real Part 107 test?
It uses the same format: 60 multiple-choice questions with three choices, 2 hours, and 70% to pass. Questions are drawn from each knowledge area in proportion to the test, and you only see answers after you submit. The questions are written for practice; they are not the FAA's actual test questions.
What happens if I close the page during the exam?
Your answers are saved in this browser and you can resume. The clock keeps running while the page is closed, just as it would at a testing center.
How many free mock exams can I take?
The free mock exam is one fixed set built from the free questions; you can retake it as often as you like. Exam Ready and Plus draw a new exam each time from all 765 questions, new questions first, and can build an exam from the questions you missed.
