Privacy policy

This policy explains what part107hq.com ("we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@part107hq.com.
Practicing without buying
You can practice and take the free mock exam without an account. Your answers, scores, mock exam results, chosen exam date and daily study time are saved only in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
When you buy a study plan
- Payment. Checkout is handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's page; we never see or store them. Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
- What we keep. The email address you gave at checkout, your selected plan, the amount, currency and date, Stripe's payment reference and the access code we create for you. We use them to give you access, let you restore it on other devices, process refunds and keep records required for accounting.
- On your device. After purchase your browser stores an access token, your purchased plan, your access code and a masked version of your email, so it remembers your purchase. The token is sent to our server to verify paid access when you open study tools, load the Plus revision pack when requested, or process your refund. The saved plan name alone does not grant access. We do not send your answers or study schedule to the server.
Abuse protection
When you start a checkout or try to restore access, we store a salted hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its first 64 bits) to limit repeated attempts. We do not store the IP address itself. Unfinished checkouts are deleted after 30 days and restore attempts after 2 days.
Hosting and logs
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, and keeps short-lived technical logs. We use support emails to answer your requests and investigate reported problems.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is optional everywhere. It loads only after you choose “Accept analytics.” If you decline, we do not load Google's analytics script or send analytics requests, including cookieless requests. You can change your choice using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Your choice is remembered in this browser for six months.
If you accept, Google receives visits to public pages, basic device and approximate location information, referring website domains, campaign labels, practice and mock-exam start and completion counts, and plan-selection and checkout events. We do not send answers, scores, study schedules, worksheet notes, your email, access codes, access tokens or Stripe session identifiers. The private My access, My study, revision-pack and payment-confirmation pages do not load analytics. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled.
Analytics cookies identify a browser rather than a named account and expire after six months. Google's user-level and event-data retention are set to two months; aggregated reports may be kept longer. Where you accept analytics and begin checkout, we temporarily associate Google's browser and session identifiers and the referring campaign with that purchase, so our server can report confirmed purchases and successful refunds without counting a confirmation-page reload as a new sale. These analytics associations are deleted from our database after 90 days. They are separate from the purchase records needed to provide access and keep accounts. If analytics is declined, blocked or unavailable, checkout and your paid access still work.
Google processes analytics data under its privacy policy. You can delete analytics cookies by clearing this site's browser data; declining analytics also removes this site's analytics cookies. Declining also requests removal of the analytics association from previous checkouts, so they stop reporting future purchases and refunds. If that request cannot reach us, the browser keeps a pending removal request and retries on a later visit. A changed choice stops browser collection immediately but does not erase events already sent to Google.
How long we keep purchase data
As long as your paid access exists, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you refund, we keep the record of the payment and refund for the same accounting reasons.
Your choices
- To get a copy of, correct or delete the purchase data we hold, write from the email address you paid with.
- Deleting your purchase record means you can no longer restore access on a new device.
- You can remove the access token and your progress from a device at any time by clearing this site's browser data.
Children
The site is meant for people preparing for the FAA remote pilot test and is not directed at children under 13.
